Yesterday I called Wick to tell him I was home and thank him for taking care of the kids. During our hour-long talk he was telling me about some of the good records someone brought for him to buy at Clarence flea market. I was doing the dishes and I THOUGHT but could not BELIEVE I heard him say "Moby records". Now, I know he buys some stuff he can resell, but we draw the line somewhere. After a few more listens I finally heard what he was saying: "Moog records". Rhymes with vogue, not with mood as in mood music. When I have a MINUTE

I will tell y'all about the trip to South Carolina to see Tim at his graduation. He is now in Maryland at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds for his Advanced Individual Training. On the way there Tim gave a one-finger salute to the White House inhabitant. It was nice to see my hubby. (Note: this is why I missed the party Saturday.) :)

Going to South Carolina

for Tim's graduation from basic training. Dad's going too. We are driving all night. Tim's dad and sister are flying, they have more money. His mom is not going. Be back Saturday night I hope.
