Back from Killeen

No, not back from killing. Back from Killeen, Texas where hubby Tim lives. He's stationed at Fort Hood where Elvis was, which I found out when I read Charlie Hodges' obit last month. We had a nice time. My luck, it was the week BEFORE when Roky Erickson was playing in Austin. So was Joe 'King' Carrasco. I couldn't find anyone familiar playing there the dates I could go, so the heck with it. We sang karaoke at a roadhouse in Harker Heights. I rocked and countried, singng Harper Valley PTA, Six Days on the Road, The Race Is On, and Hey Tonight. He warbled Black, and Always by Bon Jovi, but at least he tried. Very cute. His 'friend' im'ed at least twice while I was there. I don't check our cell phone records, too sickening. He's a lengthy monologue, he's messed up, his apartment's a wreck, there're broken dishes on the kitchen floor. He needs to register to vote (since he whines he's not coming back to New York State to live, like he's gonna be the Highwayman Soldier or the Drifter Soldier or something) so he can help get Kinky elected governor. www.kinkyfriedman.com Tim doesn't know if I should move to Texas or not, what with him being sent over in November....I think I will, to save our marriage. No, to CREATE our marriage.
