You won't be seeing rainbows anymore

F' some reason I've been thinking of my late honey Tom lately. When we first started seeing each other, he'd lost my phone number out of his jacket sleeve pocket so he rode to my house to ask me for it, and to show me the double rainbow.

At least one guitar picker was in Nashville

Lil' ole me. Brother and sister-in-law met me at the nice airport and I requested we go to Gerst House for schnitzel und bier after seeing the nice Rau exhibit at Tennessee State Museum. It was a rainy day but I loved being back in a very big city. Rain = film noir, you know, even in the daytime. Then they carried me to Clarksville. Fun. More later.
Now I'm back and I love being back in the fairly big city.

All is groovy

Yesterday was Chan the pug's 8th birthday. He got a hamburger and some rice for his dinner, and a toy hedgehog that makes a funny sound when it is squeezed or stepped on. He likes to chew fuzzy toys. www.chanthepug.blogspot.com All the puggies are cuddled up together being quiet because I have a headache and a lot of housework to get done before my dad comes home. Went to dinner (because I am sick of eating HoneyBaked Ham) with sis and her hubby before I rode the free bus to Vertex last night and had fun. Then on another free bus to a party where everyone sang karaoke. More fun. Meanwhile in Texas, Tim and his buddy Shannon, a guy, went to a line-dancing bar, then (he admitted) to the boob bar. Free admission on Saturdays with military ID! Step right up, boys. I called him after the champagne toast in this time zone and had Logan talk to him. Naturally Logan made a good joke right away about him kissing me at midnight, (he didn't) but i didn't see who everyone kissed at midnight because I was busy getting my cheek chastely kissed by Matchbox. Cute. Alan from the old Idol's was behind the bar pouring the toast. Too much fun. Glad I went. Might be best New Year's Eve ever?

Happy New Calendar

Happy New Payroll Year: whoo-hoo, 28 hours paid vacation from one job and I don't know how much from the other. In 2 weeks I'll be in Nashville over the holiday, using some of that vacation time. Then later I'll visit hubby Tim in Texas, see his new pad. 2005 was the worst year ever for me, because of hubby stealing my and my Dad's credit cards to gamble online all the aftermath, but there were some good things that happened. Couple or more new nice friends. Many more old nice friends. Of course when I say gamble online I mean gamble and LOSE online. Of course. Everybody knows that.
